The horse

Objectives for the horse.

All work with horses is geared towards what is best for the individual horse, and in regard of their nature.

Basic groundwork

Handling, lunging, and work in-hand.

Lunging

To develop suppleness, strength, balance, and a good foundation for becoming a riding horse.

Over-the-back training

Starting with lateral flexibility, acceptance of the bit, and the ability to carry the rider in a correct tempo with balance and more throughness, all leading to straightness and collection.

In regard of their nature

All work with horses is geared towards what is best for the individual horse.

Through the high school

Development from the most important foundation, to create pure swinging gaits in the horse, through the high school work: piaffe, passage, changes of lead, and more.
